Dave Sim was born in Hamilton Ontario in May of 1956, the year of the Suez Crisis which is about the only thing he hasn't been blamed for. He dropped out of highschool in 1973 to become a comic-book writer and artist. From 1977 to 2004 he did a comic book called CEREBUS which is kept in print in 16 squarebound trade paperback volumes (details at www.cerebusfangirl.com) through his company Aardvark-Vanaheim. He is presently doing two bi-monthly titles, CEREBUS ARCHIVE and Glamourpuss.
